Guardian Middle East LLC is a Qatar Financial Centre (QFC)-licensed entity established in 2025 with the regulated activity of accrediting and evaluating the conformity of goods and services to internationally recognised standards acceptable to the QFCA. Our QFC Licence number is 03870, issued by the QFC Authority on 21 August 2025.
We are the Qatar-based operating arm of an international certification group whose technical certification operations are conducted by Guardian Assessment Pvt Ltd, an internationally accredited certification body operating under the United Accreditation Foundation (UAF) and the International Accreditation Service (IAS), both based in the United States of America. Guardian Assessment Pvt Ltd is also recognised by Qatar’s national standards body — the Qatar General Organization for Standardization (QS) — under recognition number RB066-26, with Guardian Middle East LLC named as the represented entity in Qatar.
Our broader certification ecosystem includes a non-exclusive partnership with TNV Global Limited, a UAF-accredited Management System Certification Body and Inspection Body. This partnership extends our certifiable scope to include specialised standards such as ISO 13485, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO 50001, and ISO/IEC 17020 inspection services — delivered under TNV’s accreditation, with Guardian Middle East LLC acting as the authorised local representative in Qatar.
Guardian Middle East LLC operates exclusively as an independent, impartial third-party certification body. Our scope of activity is bounded by the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 (Conformity Assessment — Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems), ISO/IEC 17020 (Conformity Assessment — Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection), and the applicable Mandatory Documents issued by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
In practice, this means we conduct independent audits, attestations, and inspections; we issue certificates upon successful completion of accredited audit programmes; and we maintain certificates through annual surveillance and triennial recertification cycles. We do not provide consultancy, advisory, training, or implementation services to clients seeking certification — these activities are categorically excluded by the impartiality requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1 §5.2 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents.
Qatar’s accelerating diversification under Qatar National Vision 2030 has elevated the role of internationally credible third-party certification across construction, healthcare, oil and gas, financial services, education, and manufacturing. Guardian Middle East LLC was established to meet this demand with locally-licensed delivery and internationally-accredited certificate issuance, verifiable through IAF CertSearch.
Guardian Middle East LLC delivers services through an internationally accredited and locally recognised chain. The complete chain — including certificate numbers and validity dates — is published at /about/accreditation/.

Eight reasons organisations across Qatar choose Guardian Middle East as their certification partner.
Guardian’s certification process follows ISO/IEC 17021-1 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents. A six-step lifecycle applies to all certification scopes.
Initial scope discussion, application form, formal quotation. We do not provide pre-audit advice or gap-analysis services.
Formal application accepted. Customer Due Diligence under QFC AML/CFTR 2019. Contract issued. Audit team selection and impartiality declaration.
Documentation and readiness review against the applicable standard. Site familiarisation. Stage 1 report issued per ISO/IEC 17021-1 9.3.1.2.
Full system implementation and effectiveness audit on-site, or remote per IAF MD 4 where applicable. Audit findings, nonconformity reports, audit conclusions.
Independent decision-maker, separate from the audit team, reviews findings. Certificate issued, listed on IAF CertSearch where accredited.
Year 1 and Year 2 surveillance audits annually. Year 3 recertification audit. Three-year certification cycle throughout.
For initial application processing, Guardian typically requires the following documentation. This list is illustrative; specific standard pages provide complete document lists.
Accredited management system certifications follow a three-year cycle in line with ISO/IEC 17021-1 9.6:
Inspection certificates issued under ISO/IEC 17020 follow project-specific or annual cycles depending on the inspection scope. Refer to /inspection-services/ for inspection-specific cycles. ISO 26000 (Social Responsibility) is delivered as an Attestation, not a Certification — it is a guidance standard and is not certifiable. Attestation validity is typically annual.
