Guardian Middle East LLC delivers ISO certification in Qatar across 20+ international standards, organised into four tiers based on the underlying accreditation chain. Tier 1 (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) is QS-recognised under RB066-26. Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 cover specialised standards. Inspection services under ISO/IEC 17020 are delivered separately. All accredited certificates are listed on IAF CertSearch.
Different ISO standards are delivered through different accreditation chains. Rather than presenting all standards under a single banner, Guardian Middle East LLC organises its portfolio into four tiers — each with a distinct accreditation chain, distinct disclosure wording, and distinct positioning for stakeholder, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
This tiered structure enables full transparency: each certificate is issued under its appropriate accreditation chain, and each page on this site discloses that chain explicitly. There is no ambiguity about who issues the certificate, who accredits the issuing body, and how to verify the certificate independently.
The right tier for any given certification depends on three factors:

Mandatory clarifying disclaimer: Guardian Approved Scheme certifications are issued under Guardian Middle East LLC’s internal certification scheme. They are not accredited under UAF, IAS, IAF MLA, or any equivalent accreditation framework. Guardian’s internal scheme procedures are aligned with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents (MD 1, MD 2, MD 4, MD 5, MD 9, MD 11, MD 22, MD 23). Clients should consider whether an accredited certification (where available) better suits their stakeholder, regulatory, or contractual requirements.

In addition to the four certification tiers, Guardian Middle East LLC delivers Inspection Services under ISO/IEC 17020:2012 through a separate pillar at /inspection-services/. Inspection scope is delivered outside the QFC framework via TNV Global Limited’s UAF accreditation, with Guardian Middle East LLC acting as the authorised local representative in Qatar.

Use the framework below to identify the appropriate tier for your certification need. If you are unsure, talk to a specialist via /contact/.
Determine the ISO standard you need (or are considering). The Master Tier Mapping at about accreditation confirms which tier each standard falls under.
If your stakeholder explicitly requires IAF MLA recognition, Tier 4 is unsuitable. Use Tier 1, 2, or 3.
Confirm the standard is available at your chosen tier. Some standards exist only at one tier (e.g., ISO 22301 only at Tier 2 via Third-Party CB; ISO 13485 only at Tier 3 via TNV).
If your situation is complex — multiple standards, multiple sites, mixed-tier portfolios — request a quote at info@guardian.qa or contact the team. Guardian’s specialists will help map your requirements to the appropriate tier without consultancy.

Guardian Middle East LLC delivers certification, attestation, or inspection across more than 20 standards: 3 in Tier 1 (QS-Recognised), 4 in Tier 2 (UAF/IAS), 7 in Tier 3 (TNV Partnership), 6 in Tier 4 (Guardian Approved Scheme), plus inspection services under ISO/IEC 17020. The full list is mapped on /about/accreditation/
The tiers reflect different accreditation chains. Tier 1 is QS-recognised plus UAF/IAS accredited (highest disclosure). Tier 2 is UAF/IAS accredited (excluding QS). Tier 3 is delivered via TNV Global Limited under UAF accreditation. Tier 4 is the Guardian Approved Scheme — Guardian's internal scheme aligned with ISO/IEC 17021-1 but NOT accredited.
If the tender specifies 'QS-recognised' (or 'QGOSM-recognised') certification, Tier 1 is required. QS recognition under RB066-26 covers ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. For other standards required in tenders, Tier 2 or Tier 3 (with appropriate UAF/IAS accreditation and IAF MLA recognition) typically meets requirements. Tier 4 is generally unsuitable for public-sector tenders.
Tiers 1, 2, and 3 are recognized internationally under the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA) and listed on IAF CertSearch. Tier 4 (Guardian Approved Scheme) is NOT accredited and NOT IAF MLA recognized — it is suitable for organizations that do not require international accredited recognition.
ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) is delivered through a Third-Party Certification Body accredited by IAS under MSCB 154. Guardian Middle East LLC acts as the local representative in Qatar. The accreditation chain is structurally different from the other Tier 2 standards (which are delivered under Guardian Assessment Pvt Ltd's UAF/IAS accreditation). The disclosure on /iso-22301-certification-in-qatar/ reflects this distinction transparently.
Tier 3 covers specialized standards (medical devices, privacy, IT service management, energy, asset management, facilities, AI). These standards require sectoral and technical depth in audit team appointment. Through the partnership with TNV Global Limited, Guardian Middle East LLC accesses TNV's UAF-accredited scope and competent auditor pool. Guardian acts as the authorized local representative in Qatar.
The Guardian Approved Scheme is Guardian Middle East LLC's internal certification scheme for six standards: ISO 37301, 20121, 39001, 28000, 14068-1, and ISO 26000 (attestation only). The scheme is operated under documented procedures aligned with ISO/IEC 17021-1 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents — but is NOT externally accredited. Every Tier 4 page carries a mandatory clarifying disclaimer.
Yes. Many organizations combine certifications across tiers — for example, ISO 9001 + 14001 + 45001 (Tier 1) plus ISO/IEC 27001 (Tier 2) plus ISO 50001 (Tier 3). Each certificate is issued under its tier's accreditation chain. Integrated audit programs are available where the organization operates an integrated management system, subject to ISO/IEC 17021-1 audit-duration requirements (IAF MD 5, MD 11).
For Tier 1, 2, and 3 accredited certificates, visit https://www.iafcertsearch.org and search by certificate number, accreditation body, or organization name. For Tier 4 Guardian Approved Scheme certificates, verification is via Guardian Middle East LLC's internal scheme records — visit /accreditation-verify/ or email info@guardian.qa.
Typical timeline from contract signature to certificate issuance is 8 to 16 weeks for organisations with mature management systems. Stage 1 and Stage 2 audits are scheduled at intervals required by ISO/IEC 17021-1; the certification decision follows within 6 weeks of Stage 2 audit closure for routine cases. Audit duration depends on scope, sites, and headcount under IAF MD 5.
Accredited management system certifications follow a three-year cycle: Year 1 initial certification (Stage 1 + Stage 2 + decision), Year 2 surveillance audit, Year 3 surveillance OR recertification audit, with a new 3-year certificate issued upon successful recertification. ISO 26000 attestation is typically annual. Inspection certificates follow project-specific or annual cycles.
No. Under ISO/IEC 17021-1 §5.2 and applicable IAF Mandatory Documents, certification bodies must be impartial. Guardian Middle East LLC does not provide consultancy, advisory, training, gap-analysis, or implementation services to clients seeking certification. Free, generic Implementation Kits are available at /resources/implementation-kits/ — these are not consultancy.
