Under Qatar Standards Authority Regulation 363/2018, any certification body, or its representative office, must obtain formal QS registration before offering or conducting certification services within the State of Qatar. This requirement ensures that conformity assessment activities are carried out only by recognized and duly registered entities, thereby maintaining the integrity and oversight of certification services in Qatar.

Status of Guardian Middle East LLC

  • Guardian Middle East LLC, Doha, is established as the representative office of Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd., India, under a valid Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for five (5) years.
  • Guardian Assessment Pvt. Ltd. is an internationally accredited Conformity Assessment Body, accredited by UAF (United Accreditation Foundation) and IAS (International Accreditation Service, USA).
  • Guardian Middle East LLC has formally applied for QS registration, and the process is currently under review by the competent authorities.
